November 2, 2010 WHY NOT?!
why not…. offer your services to the greater good? WHY NOT? is a young dutch enterprise which is founded by three enthusiastic women, one of which is my sister. the WHY NOT? foundation focuses on disabled children and youngsters in KENYA in the age of 4 to 18 years old. the foundation is committed to encourage and stimulate the upgrowth of children with physical and/or intellectual disabilities, ‘because disability is not inability!’
recently i picked up on some voluntary social media managing for my sister’s foundation. i’ve started translating some dutch company info to english and am helping out with maintaining the facebook page, linkedin profile, twitter- and hyves account.
still need to sort out what info we’ll need to share and how to create some structure in doing this, but hey we’re getting started and my sister and her colleagues are really rising with their initiative!!
